Final Rev’s mission is to significantly improve the profitability and efficiency of our clients’ business needs to maximize revenue and generate growth. Our services range from business optimization, project management and master scheduling to product development. Final Rev was founded in August of 2015 and is based out of Washington state. Our team values maximum effort and integrity, sharing the common goal to provide our clients with the tools and support they need to improve their businesses. Brun Garfoot:
Brun graduated from Eastern Washington University, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology and an MBA from University of Phoenix. Brun has over 15 years’ experience in operations, finance, executive leadership, outsource manufacturing, business optimization and team development. After working for several well-known companies including, Coinstar/Redbox, Pacifica Engineering, MTORRES America, Brun started Final Rev in August of 2015. Final Rev is a private consulting firm specializing in product development, business optimization, and program management.

Mark Irby:
Vice President of Business Development

Mark is a Seattle area native, making his home in Maple Valley, WA.  He graduated from Green River College in 1991 with a degree in Drafting Technology, coursework in Mechanical Engineering and Project Management.  Mark spent the first 7 years of his Aerospace career at Boeing Defense and Space, where he gained valuable experience in Scaffolding and Handling Equipment Tool Design, Tool Liaison, Composite Structures Design and MRB. He has spent the last 23 years in the roles of Engineering Manager, Program Manager and Key Account Manager for several well-known Aerospace Integrators. Mark really enjoys using his diverse design background to develop strong customer relationships by helping to define tooling solutions that improve their business operations.

Mike Grimstad:
Senior Program Manager
Mike studied Industrial Design at the University of Washington and worked in product development before moving into tooling and robotics in the aerospace industry. His background in user interaction and product design, combined with technical experience in tooling design, supplier management, program management and sales gives Mike a comprehensive approach to the design & build cycle. An expert in quickly distilling facts and data out of complex systems to make strategic decisions and action, his managed programs have had a history of growth and efficiency.

Deanna Sweet:
Continuous Improvement Manager
Originally from Southern California, Deanna relocated to Washington in the Fall of 2013 to continue advancing her career. With over 4 years of experience in the aerospace and aircraft tooling industry as well as over 5 years in other manufacturing industries, Deanna is flexible and cross functional for several different industries. Specializing in Project Scheduling, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations and Quality Management Systems, Deanna offers a proven record of accomplishment with the ability to assess both the business and technical impact of decisions and solutions.

Tim Schick:
Senior Design Engineer
Tim was born and raised in the great Pacific Northwest and graduated from Seattle University in 2005 with a bachelors in mechanical engineering. He has since been working in the aerospace tooling industry building a background in machine design, structural design, and stress analysis. As a lead design engineer in the tooling industry, he has also gained valuable amount of experience working with and managing foreign suppliers all around the world to develop innovative solutions for building aircraft. The industry has provided Tim with the universal skills of developing creative solutions to unique problems with cost and ease of fabrication in mind.

Gerry Marvin:
Senior Design Engineer
Gerry is a Western Washington native who graduated from the University of Washington in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. After working briefly as an engineer in marine equipment and industrial lifts, he has worked primarily in aerospace tooling since 2008. During this time, he has developed a robust skillset in machine design, locating fixtures, lifting equipment, structural design/analysis and miscellaneous other equipment. His years as a lead engineer at a multinational company helped him garner experience working with a diverse group of engineers to generate innovative solutions in the continuously evolving processes of aircraft manufacturing.  He is currently a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Washington and Florida.

Matt Kelly:
Senior Design Engineer
Matt grew up in the Pacific Northwest and graduated from Western Washington University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in plastic engineering technology and vehicle engineering technology. He spent the first years of his career working with composites in the marine industry where he gained experience fabricating and developing cost effective tooling for one-off and low production products. He spent 8 years working in the aerospace tooling and equipment industry for some of the leading suppliers, designing locating fixtures, work platforms, machines and transportation tooling. As a Lead Engineer, he managed all aspects of integrated projects ensuring designs meet customer requirements, working alongside installation teams, and training end users through initial production. Matt strives to exceed customer expectations and develop relationships through customer satisfaction.

Nathan Ellis:
Associate Design Engineer
Nathan was born and reared in Spokane, Washington and graduated valedictorian from Mead High School. He attended Montana State University in Bozeman and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. His studies emphasized thermodynamics and CAD. While in college Nathan interned for General Mechanical, Inc. where he learned the importance of teamwork, business communication in coordinating projects and working in CAD. In November of 2018, he joined FinalREV Design & Consulting coming alongside the team to support and enhance product development, structural design and analysis, as well as project streamlining.

Warren Courtney:
Designer / Drafter
Warren grew up in the lake Chelan area working part time for Mountain Barge Services during the summer. He graduated from Chelan High School in 2015 and immediately began working full time for MBS. In the fall of 2016, he began working for FinalREV Design & Consulting in the MBS office handling a portion of the companies Logistics coordination & office work. His skillsets are diverse, matching the scaling nature of both companies & the responsibilities involved with the fast track growth.

Scott Boyle:
Senior Program Manager
Scott worked 10 years with the Boeing Company and 14 years for Pacifica Engineering/MTorres America in various aircraft interiors engineering and tooling capacities. The last positions Scott held were Engineering Supervisor and Project Engineer/Project Manager of design/build projects for the Boeing Company. Scott has spent time mentoring and training lead engineers with the focus on teaching engineers Boeing tooling, design standards, monitor/track schedules, budgets, and project milestones. Outside interests include cycling, snow skiing, water skiing, hiking, golf, and watching various college and professional sports.

John Lane:
Senior Design Engineer / Sales Engineer
John was born in Southern California and followed in his father’s footsteps working at Northrop-Grumman Corp as a Plaster Master/Fiberglass tool maker where he learned all aspects of Aerospace Tooling. After years of tool fabrication he was selected to be trained as a tool designer where he gained valuable experience in Composite and Invar tooling. John moved to the Northwest to further his career in Tool Design/Fabrication working at the Boeing Company, Northwest Composites where he started and staffed the tooling department, and Pacifica Engineering/MTorres America. During John’s 40 year career he has worked on projects internationally and gained extensive experience in composite tooling and fabrication with an emphasis on finding the simplest solutions to complex problems.

Steve Forsman:
Senior Tool Design Engineer
Steve has over 24 years of experience working in the greater Seattle area tooling industry. His background ranges from emergency lighting design to integrated station tooling and systems design with a recent focus on large integrated tooling projects for the 777X program for the Boeing Company. Graduating from ITT Technical Institute, Steve has extensive experience in CATIA, AutoCAD, STAAD, and Solidworks.
